Hi,

I need to add FTP capabilities to an app for a web cam and am still using
BCB 4.0. This is a personal project for my model airplane club and don't
want to buy a commercial control. I have done quite a bit of searching the
internet and the news groups but am still somewhat in the dark. I understand
NMFTP is buggy and probably the best way to go would be to use inet.lib.

Just wondering if anyone has already done this and if you would mind sharing
your code or pointing me to a free or almost free control that works.. I
looked at Indy but looks like they no longer have a version that works with
BCB 4 and all I need is FTP..

The code for inet would save me a ton of time and ya I'm begging.

Thanks
Bob

You will find easy to use component with BCB examples here

http://www.overbyte.be/frame_index.html

just "Download the latest ICS-V5 Distribution"

and they are bugfree if such software excists.

Kind regards

Hey Thanks... Had seen ICS mentioned in my searches but never researched
it.. Downloaded and installed in BCB4 just fine. Opened up the sample app
supplied and it worked great... Not sure it could be easier, we are on our
way..

Thanks again
Bob
